Congratulations on the new release! The first three features look especially interesting to me.

Any chance the new version will be available via ‘Demo’ on the website for users to see the functionality?

    Thanks!

    Support,
I bought the new pcWRT 802.11AC Gigabit Router to upgrade from the 300 Mbps router and uploaded my last backup to save time.
It is working but I do not have any control over the WiFi settings, it stays off as my old router was configured and wont turn on even though the settings are on. My version on the new router shows “pcWRT TORONTO-AC v1.25” is this the latest and for this device?

    Support,
Another Update, on the WiFi screen I do not see separate SSID’s/Settings for 2.4G and 5G, just one set of settings, so I think I have the wrong firmware on the device. How can I download the latest firmware so I can upload it manually since it says it does not see a new one online.

@John Backup files are not compatible between the TORONTO-AC and the TORONTO-N. You need to factory reset the router and manually recreate the configurations.

Ok, I was afraid of that and was not sure resetting it may work so I wanted to check first. Thanks for the update.

Does this release or any offer a bandwidth monitor- preferably by ip. Any way to do that?

@stondona We currently don’t have any bandwidth monitoring functionality. Does your question mean reporting of bandwidth consumed by each device per hour/day etc?

Yeso something like that. Being able to see the number of site visits is good but knowing how much data is being downloaded on a device would give me a nice way to track my kids usage and activities.

@stondona We are adding this functionality in the next release, coming in a week or so.

In the parental control settings, you can check “SafeSeach” , “Block Proxy” etc…., please ADD a block for image hosting sites.

Reddit, Imgur, Pinterest, etc… are FULL of pornography. Nowadays a person for to look at pornography enter in these sites.

Instead of insert them one by one, add this function too. So, with one check, a parent can be peaceful with this.

This is a big hole in the pcwrt.

    Thanks.
