DHCP Relay

I have an upstream security device and router. Unfortunately, by issuing DHCP leases and controlling the IP space at the WiFi router, I lose visibility into individual clients. I believe, please correct me if I’m wrong, that the pcWRT as a DHCP relay would give the visibility I am seeking on the upstream device since the clients would not be hidden behind the WiFi router.

@kravin Do you mean you have a security device and a router connected to the WAN side of the pcWRT? And you wanted to have visibility to the devices connected to the LAN side of the pcWRT from the security device?
