This terrific router has been rock solid on firmware 2.7.6. Tonight, I decided to install the new 2.7.7 firmware. On reboot, I had no Internet connectivity on streaming apps. At first I thought it was the connected devices, so I rebooted everything, still the same. I then switched from the pc-wrt router’s always-on WireGuard VPN to OpenVPN, still the same. Finally, I tried a different router and ran the PIA VPN app on the device, everything immediately worked.
Based on the above, I performed a Rollback on the pc-wrt router to v2.7.6. Everything came back without me touching anything and is perfect again. I’m on always-on WireGuard.
Long story short, for me, v2.7.7 kills my WireGuard / OpenVpn connection.
