Can you explain to me a way to enable the ad block only and exclusively on one particular site?

When you activate ad block, it will be enabled for all websites. But you can pause or suspend it before you visit a particular website.

You can perhaps do the reverse. I.e., suspend ad blocking when you log on your computer, but activate ad blocking before you visit a particular website.

Can you add a way to disable ad block for all sites and enable it only for a particular site in the next firmware update?

Would be a great thing, the way you explained to me is not functional, in the sense that there are too many steps to do something that should be simple to do. Unfortunately, nowadays blocking ads means making websites work badly, or some not working at all. So it would be too difficult to do the way you told me for every site where I would like to block ads.

Can you elaborate on the envisioned user experience? E.g., suppose you go from site A to site B, and from site B to site C. You want ad blocking only for site B. What would you do to achieve that from a user perspective?

Isn’t it possible to add the ability to activate adblock only for a specific list of sites? It would be the opposite of what can be done today with pcwrt, i.e. insert into a list all the sites where AdBlock should not work. Would it be difficult for you to add this additional functionality? I can’t mess around with AdBlock all the time just because I need it to block ads on only one site.

Let’s say you have two tabs open in your browser, one for site A, another for site B. Both pages contain Google ads. If the router blocks Google ads, then the ads will be blocked for both tabs. The router does not know which tab you’re looking at. That’s why in the current design you need to click a Pause button if you are looking at site A and decided that you want to see ads on the page.
