Updated to 2.7.7 this morning, everything seemed fine.

Decided to update my TrueNAS to the new Fangtooth update Train, and it couldn’t find the update file so I installed it manually. Only for it to not boot afterwards. the Network config refused to find the gateway. I tried to find a fix, thinking something in the update went awry. wound up flat re-formatting the boot drive and doing a full install of the last known working version, still noting. Eventually hours later I found a workaround that I thought worked.

Went to watch some TV and relax only to find my Rogers TV not working (Its hardwired) checked the other devices upstairs (Frameo Display, Garage Light smart switch, kids phones). Nothing on Wifi Was connected to the Access Point upstairs worked.

I rolled back the update on TrueNAS, rebooted everything, Put my old unmanaged switches back in. Removed all switches except the main one(So only one device per location, I use a star topography so I don’t have to run extra wires through the house). No Rogers, Limited NAS, Nothing on the AP’s worked. I tried changing various settings on the router. nothing seemed to work.

After exhausting every option I could think of I Rolled back to 2.7.6, Everything clicked on almost instantly, was able to re-update to the new fangtooth update train seamlessy. Tv kicked in right away, all the wifi items on the AP came back online.
