I blocked Instagram for my son, but I discovered he can still browse it without any problems through sites like these:
fastdl.app
dumpor.io
save-free.com
I was shocked, especially since Google returns dozens and dozens of sites like the ones I mentioned. It’s impossible to block them all, and more importantly, new ones are constantly being created.
I blocked the addresses “instagram.com” and “cdninstagram.com,” but that didn’t help. So I analyzed the traffic using Wireshark, where some addresses from “cloudfront.net” appeared. I also tried blocking the “cloudfront.net” domain entirely, but again, nothing changed.
Could you create a guide on how to completely block Instagram?
I’ve seen the same thing happen for social networks like TikTok; hundreds of sites allow viewing even though the TikTok site is blocked.
