Come across something interesting within the access control part where you can see all the domains and ip addresses.

I’ve started to notice that DNS numbers are appearing within the access control part, does this mean if you select a DNS provider you want to use and somehow different DNS numbers appear within the list of the access control, will those domains and IP addresses circumvent through the DNS listed within the access control?

    If so,

Does that mean your OWN ISP provider, if entered into the whitelist part of the GUI

technically the ISP DNS could then be used as a DOH DNS tunneling through HTTPS?

Basically, if you enter an IP address into the white list, you’re allowed to visit that IP. If Access Control is enforced in a profile, then all users in that profile will be forced to use the DNS defined for the profile.
