Newifi2 No Longer Connects to Internet

    My router has been connected to an AT&T Nokia modem/router gateway for a long time without issues with the gateway Wi-fi turned off so that internet connection is through the NeWifi2. Although I can connect wirelessly and wired to the Newifi2, it has no internet access. Internet access is restored when I disconnect the NeWifi2 and turn on the gateway wi-fi. The ethernet from a port on the gateway is plugged into the WAN port on the NeWifi2.

    If the NeWifi2 cannot connect to the internet but devices can connect to the NeWifi2, does that mean the router is defective? I’ve had it since 9/2021.

    You can log in the router and check the WAN connection status under the Internet section.
