Changes included in this update:
- Bugfix for remote management setup
- Bugfix: enforced access control blocking Windows update
- Add P2P (BitTorrent etc.) blocking to Access Control
- Add option to set expiration date on VPN user account (for VPN server configuration)
- Add option to randomize MAC address for WiFi
- Add monitoring code to ensure VPN connection integrity
This release supersedes v2.7.8 and v2.7.7, i.e., if after upgrading you want to roll back, you’ll roll back to v2.7.6.
Upgrade steps:
- Have your configuration backup ready. Create a backup file for your current configuration, if you don’t have one.
- Click the “Check for Updates” button in the System Settings page. Follow the instructions to upgrade.
- After successful upgrade, create a new router settings backup file from the System Settings page and save it in a safe place.
