Plex Server

Hello,

Having some issues with Plex server. Remote access is enables, port forwarding is setup, secure connections in Plex settings is set to preferred, firewall on plex server devices allows incoming connections to Plex Server app, plex.tv is whitelisted, port is open and accessible when checking from outside the network, yet Plex will not connect to the server. Plex will only connect when on the same internal network as the server.

Any idea what could be causing this or ideas to troubleshoot?

As far as the router is concerned, you only need to test that port forwarding works.

To make sure that pcWRT Access Control is not interfering with Plex, you may disable Access Control for the Plex Server box for testing purposes.
