I will subscribe to VPN service from Mullvad, IVPN, or Proton to be configured and run on the AX1800 in Wireguard protocol. Do you recommend one, or suggest that I avoid any of those, based on your experience with how they interact with AX1800 or other pcwrt routers?

All of these will work on the pcWRT router.

Mullvad ip address point to India

most of those IP’s point to India even though it says its from Sweden.

Probably Indians in Sweden running Mullvad.
