Love the new and long-due features, but am totally disgusted by losing all my years of configuration changes (smart home, profiles, calendars, etc.). Just want to chuck the thing in the trash at this point.

I highly suggest putting a huge warning at the beginning (not end) of any FW update notification email and FW update description if an update will overwrite a current configuration. Better yet, pop up a dialog box that warns the user and offers to make a backup of the configuration BEFORE any FW update.

I see that the dual-band router is on sale at Amazon for $180. Is there a new pcWRT dual-band router coming out soon (home grown HW, rather than TP-Archer)?

    Thanks,

    Richard

This update seems to have broken XboxOne (Xbox Live) operation. Please do some testing before release, or provide the ability to downgrade to the previous version.

The last update (V1.21.2) seems to have broken XBoxOne access when parental control is enabled. Is that possible? All my efforts to get the XBoxOne (XBox Live) working have thus far failed. It used to work with V1.21.1. The Block VPN.TOR, etc and Block literal IP addresses are unchecked. Anyone else having trouble with Xbox Live since the update?

    Thanks!

I’m really struggling with this. I have set up times when Netflix is allowed. Today, it went over by 55 minutes. Does Netflix under a Chromebook buffer the entire episode? These particular episodes are 42 minutes long, so I don’t see how it allowed 55 minutes over even if it buffers the entire episode. There’s got to be a better way! Perhaps provide a break of some sort so that device has to re-buffer?

I would like finer-grain control over the pause function. For instance, I would like to easily pause a profile rather than the whole enchilada. Seems like that could be a very useful function. Perhaps a profile could have a play and pause control.

Also, it would be great to have an Android App to easily monitor/tweak/configure the router. 🙂

Remote access to the router configuration would be great as well, but I reckon that would require a server interface (or public IP, which is not possible for us).

    Thanks!
