Still trying to troubleshoot Microsoft Teams staying connected for meetings. So I have added the url skype.com to the Whitelist. Based on other responses I have seen in the support forum, I don’t need to use a wildcard (*) to allow other variations of skype.com. Can you confirm that is correct? Here are some of the urls I see in the logs that appear to still be blocked even though I have allowed skype.com

I have continued to troubleshoot this, but still cannot get the video or audio call function for Skype or Microsoft Teams to work. I have added all the urls from the Skype and Microsoft Teams section of the help document below to “Allowed URLs” and looked in the Logs as well to see if there any other’s when trying to connect a call, but don’t see any. I tried making multiple calls this morning (3/6/18) between 8:50am-9:10am Eastern Standard Time if you want to look at the logs. Are there any other ports or configuration changes that might fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ok, which type of internet logs should I check? Is there some within the router admin?

Ok, I will try that. I have also noticed that with this option selected I cannot use the call functionality within Microsoft Teams. Microsoft essentially uses their Skype technology for video calls within Teams so is there specific ports I need to open so the router will allow this? Basically, what happens is the call seems to connect for a few seconds, but then I get a network error message and it disconnects.

Ok, I checked the IP address and they are the same, so my pcWRT router does have a public IP address. Given that, how can I resolve the issue? I also noticed that there wasn’t a check for updates button on the system settings page. Thought I might try that as well. Thanks!

Ok,my setup is I have my pcWRT router directly connected from my modem. I then connect my pcWRT router to a Linksys router I have setup as an access point to get better wireless coverage. So based on the setup instructions above my pcWRT router isn’t behind another router, but probably doesn’t have a public IP address because the modem is probably determine that, correct? In this case, will simply setting up the Bind port work or do I need to call my ISP and if so what do I need them to do? Thanks!

I have been using this feature and think it is critical. Unfortunately, it doesn’t consistently work when I try to login remotely. Most of the time, after successfully logging in I get this message “failed to retrieve data..” and cannot access any of the controls/functionality. The only way to resolve this is to reboot the router which is not ideal given the nature of this feature. Any suggestions on how to resolve the issue?

It is actually a shared computer so that will not really work. Is there a reason why the whitelist option isn’t working?

Ok, so for option #1 how should I connect things?

I tried connecting the ethernet cable from my modem to the WAN port on the pcWRT. Turning off wireless on the pcWRT, but left the setting DHCP client enabled. I ran an ethernet cable from a LAN port on the pcWRT to an open LAN port on my Linksys 1900AC router. I disabled DHCP on the Linksys, but left wireless on so it broadcast. I didn’t even try to setup the other Linksys rounter as an Access Point, because I couldn’t get internet connectivity with this setup. Any suggestions?
