@casino You are right. Both Firefox and Chrome support DNS Over HTTPS (DOH). Here are the links for more info:
Noticeably both browsers have some detection mechanism for managed networks, and will disable DOH when DNS filtering is detected.
The pcWRT router has built-in defense against DNS bypassing techniques. Blocking will remain effective even with DOH enabled.
