Archer C7 V2 pcwrt install

Hi, I bought a 2nd hand C7 V2 hoping to install pcwrt lite and checking it out before going premium. But I can’t get it to install, and any help would be much appreciated. I tried the webgui and I get an error of 18005. So I’ve tried TFTP on my Mac using the Transfer app from https://www.intuitibits.com/products/transfer/, which works when I’ve configured a manual IP 192.168.0.66 and it transfers and the router restarts, but it’s still the tplink firmware. Any ideas

TFTP method should work. There are two versions in our download page, upgrade and factory. Did you use the factory image?

I tried both, but neither worked and it kept booting into the tp link firwmare. I tried one more time and it caused the router to get stuck in a reboot loop.

The factory file is the proper image. Your hardware is probably not compatible.
