How i block specific ports?
This function will be added in the next update, coming in a few days.
Great news, so i don’t need to install a firewall software.
Here’s how to block specific ports.
To block TCP port 8080, enter :8080T in the Blocked URLs box. To block UDP port 23, enter :23U in the Blocked URLs box. To block port 4343 for both TCP and UDP, simply enter :4343.
Thanks. Surfing in internet i’ve read this:
“You should also block the port 53 (TCP & UDP) so
that the connected devices are forced to use your
newly configured router’s DNS setting.”
What can you tell me about this?
@casino With parental control enabled on the pcWRT router, DNS resolution on connected devices is forced to use DNS settings on the router. So there’s no need to block port 53.
