I have had pcwrt, but recently bought orbi with one satellite to get better wifi through house. Can I still use pcwrt for parental controls while using orbi to extend wifi?

    You can try this configuration:

    1. Connect your devices like this: Modem -> pcWRT -> Orbi. I.e., connect Modem to pcWRT WAN port, then connect from a pcWRT LAN port to Orbi WAN port.
    2. Configure the Orbi as an Access Point (AP).
    3. Turn off WiFi on the pcWRT.

You’ll use WiFi from the Orbi only and your devices will appear as wired connections to the pcWRT.

For more info on how to run the Orbi as AP:

@rjager The type of mesh doesn’t matter. The requirement is to run the WiFi mesh in bridge mode.
