Simple question with what I fear will be an even simpler answer: can the router be configured as a firewall to block outside traffic to my home network, beyond what is offered under parental controls? I’m looking for typical firewall functionality, to block inbound traffic except from certain IPs to certain devices and ports on my home network.

I’ve looked through the router web interface, help documentation, and on the blog and forums, but I haven’t found anything resembling firewall configuration guides.

Yes. By default all in bound traffic is blocked. You use the port forwarding section in Network Settings to allow outside requests to reach specific hosts on your home network.

Thank you. I’ll give that a try.

Yes, that worked as I expected. Thank you.
