There are three steps to set up a wifi connection with the printer.
- If you have previously configured the wireless settings of the printer, you must reset the network LAN settings before you can configure the wireless settings again. Use Menu, Δ or ∇ to choose

to accept the change. For Touchscreen models, press MENU

to accept the change. The printer will restart automatically.
- Connect to the wifi.
- Press Menu

Setup Wizard
. Press OK.
- The printer will search for your network and display a list of available SSIDs. Use Δ or ∇ to choose the pcWRT SSID. Then press OK.
- Use Δ or ∇ to choose the authentication method, and press OK. You should choose
WPA/WPA2-PSK
.
- Choose the Encryption type,
TKIP
or AES
using Δ or ∇. Press OK. The encryption type should match what that of the pcWRT router.
- Enter the password and press OK. To apply the settings, choose
Yes
.
- The machine starts to connect to the pcWRT router. If connection is successful, the display shows
Connected
for 60 seconds and configuration is completed. If the connection failed, the display shows Connection Failed
for 60 seconds.
- Setup TCP/IP
- Press Menu, then press Δ or ∇ to choose

- Use Δ or ∇ to choose

- Press Δ or ∇ to choose
BOOT Method
. Press OK.
- Press left or right triangle to choose

- Press Stop/Exit.
- Check the printer IP address: press Menu, then use Δ or ∇ to navigate to
Network
, WLAN
, TCP/IP
, then IP Address
. Make sure that the IP address is compatible with the pcWRT wifi network. By default, this should be 192.168.10.xxx
.
- Log in the pcWRT console, click Status. You should be able to see the printer in connected devices. If the printer hostname is displayed in gray, click the hostname, enter a new name if you wish, then click Save.
