There are some web address that seems impossible to unblock, for example:

    “c.whatsapp.net” “media-fco1-1.cdn.whatsapp.net” “edge-mqtt.facebook.com” “lithium.facebook.com” “b-api.facebook.com” etc… all these requests come from smartphones.
I can see them in the Internet Logs and the reason of the blocks is “Proxy/VPN”. For some of these the port is “TCP:80”, for others “TCP:443” or “UDP:443”.

I write them (in every way) in the white list but they can’t to be unblocked.

Try it yourself: Take a mobile phone and just sent a message in whatsapp or just open the facebook and messenger app. If in your parental control are active Literal IP Addesses, Proxy,VPN,Tor you’ll have those addresses in the internet logs. Then copy them in the white list. They will not be unblocked.

Thanks, this problem is really important, i have seriou problems with whatsapp because of it.

For example, i have this problem with ip too:

“216.239.38.119”, TCP:443, Reason: Proxy/VPN. If i put this in the white list it will not be unblocked.

    Thanks!

You can add these new addresses by Cloudflare too:

With the new firmware update, 2.0.6, the problem has not been solved. Look here:

    https://postimg.cc/xq1SQ81Y

As you can see, there are those 3 web addresses (and others) “www.facebook.com” “b-graph.facebook.com” “lithium.facebook.com” blocked with the port TCP 443 (Proxy/VPN).

@casino If only “Block Proxy/VPN” is checked and nothing else, facebook.com should not be blocked. Normally, you don’t need to white list it either.

Which app are you using? Is this blocking any facebook functionality?

I’m using the simple facebook and whatsapp app. In my profile, as always, i have everything checked (VPN, Proxy, TOR, Literal IP addresses, safe search) except ad block.

I have less problems with facebook, but with whatsapp the situation is very bad, sometimes i receive messages late hours, some days i must to switch to the mobile data.

Why it works with only Proxy/VPN checked? In this case my problem remains.

@casino What I meant is the named domains should not be blocked even when “Block Proxy/VPN” is checked. What you showed in the screenshot was probably temporary (i.e., you won’t see the facebook.com domains consistently blocked).

With “Block VPN/Proxy” & “Block Literal IP” checked, Whatsapp can’t deliver messages because it’s literally connecting directly to IP addresses. You need to white list each IP address Whatsapp is using. But that can take a lot of time.

For your own devices, it is better that you create a separate profile and turn off blocking for VPN/Proxy & Literal IP address.

In my internet logs i have, many times, this address:

    “s.srvsynd.com”. Reason: DNS

I tried to unlock it but it’s impossible. If i write in the white list “s.srvsynd.com” or “srvsynd.com” the site is blocked anyway.

I tried to change the DNS in the Internet Settings and in the Access Control too, but it doesn’t work. I tried Quad9, CloudFlare etc….

    Can you help me?
