The problemi is simple: I have a calendar where Facebook has its time: 7pm – 9pm.

If i visit Facebook and in that time i don’t shut down the browser i can browse into Facebook forever, 10pm, 11pm etc…

I can click everywhere, refresh the page too (F5) and pcwrt will not block the site. This is an enormous loophole.

The unique way is to close the browser waitinf for at least 15 minutes and pcwrt will block the site. Try it yourself.

    Can you help me?

Sorry, can’t repeat your issue. What browser are you using?

I’m using Firefox, the last version on Windows 10.

For example visit Facebook at 8:45pm and stay in. After the 9pm you will browse the site normally, whitout any problem.

We can’t reproduce it. Can you send a copy of your backup file to [email protected]?

Has the problem been solved in the last firmware version?

@casino Please try again with v2.5.1. Let us know if you still see the problem.

The problem has not been solved, and it’s a huge problem.
I noticed that for a year now you have only dealt with VPN, completely abandoning parental control.
I bought your router for the parental control, not for the VPN.

Please take care of what you were born for, Parental Control

@casino We were not able to reproduce your problem, even with your configuration files. What we did in v2.5.1 was to add a monitor that checks the integrity of the parental control components, and restore the configuration if any error is found.

We can’t claim a true fix for what you were seeing unless we can consistently reproduce your problem. We need your help to identify the situation under which the problem occurs. Have you noticed any patterns?

I have completely formatted the computer, i have windows 11 now, and the problem persists.

I don’t know what i have to do. For example, regarding youtube, you can visit youtube, searching for videos, but them will not play, but you can surf in the site anyway, and this should be denied from the calendar.

@casino When we last talked about this, you did not have this problem for a few days. Then you said the problem came back. Were there any changes in between? Did the time on the router match the time on your computer when you had the problem?

@casino Also, when the problem happens next time, take a look at the Access Logs.

Click on a few links on Facebook or YouTube 10 minutes after they’re supposed to be blocked. Then open the Access Logs page, expand the profile and click on the name of your device (on the left navigation panel), switch to “RAW” mode and inspect the latest entries. Send the screenshots of both Visited and Blocked pages to [email protected]. Thanks!

In the system settings, under the Timezone Tab,what’s the best option?

Choose from all timezones? Choose from timezones with the same UTC offset as browser? Sync Time with Browser?

    What’s the difference among them?

@casino You can use either “all” or “same UTC offset” to choose your timezone. The latter gives you a shorter list to choose from, so it’s more convenient.

You can click “Sync Time with Browser” to set the current time on the router when the router does not have access to the Internet (i.e., when it can’t sync time with an NTP server).
