pcWRT firmware v1.21.4 for TORONTO-N Release Notes

There’s one change for this release: to make pcWRT parental control co-exist with Barracuda Web Security. Before this change, computers with Barracuda installed cannot surf the Internet when put in a profile with parental control on.

If you are updating from a version earlier than v1.21.2 and have an existing guest network, you need to recreate it after this update: go to the Wireless Settings page, remove the guest network, Save. Re-create the guest network, Save again.

To update to this version, click the “Check for Updates” button in the System settings page.

This update seems to have broken XboxOne (Xbox Live) operation. Please do some testing before release, or provide the ability to downgrade to the previous version.

@RichardGV Thanks for the suggestion! We are adding more testing scenarios to our current test suite, and hopefully situations like this can be eliminated in the future. We are also developing a function so that you can roll back to a previous version.

For now, please update to v1.21.5 and see if the problem is fixed. Thanks!
