Using a Wifi Extender

In our home we have a main wifi router and on the other side of the house we have a wifi extender. I set up the pcwrt router to work with our current one and followed all the set up steps…. but how do I connect the pcwrt router with the wifi extender? I’m not sure how to do about that.

@Sarah_Sobek To make sure that I understand your setup correctly, you connected the pcWRT WAN to a LAN port on your main router, and want to connect your WiFi extender to the pcWRT via WiFi connection?

It’s for TP-Link, but other extenders are more or less the same. If you need more help, please give us the model of your WiFi extender. We should be able to give you more specific instructions.
