Ah..here’s what happened: Downloaded the firmware, started the update process. Update process runs and then the browser refreshes and I get that error message on the browser. I no longer can access the router or any webpage through a browser. I then power cycle the router and all is well. HTH

Not any more, because once I got that screenshot, I power cycled the router and the update seemed to work. But in case you’re interested, that error message was the only text on the webpage.

Received the following message when updating firmware:

    Unable to establish ubus connection
    stack traceback:
    [C]: in function ‘?’
    ?: in function ‘ubus’
    ?: in function ‘?’
    ?: in function ‘?’
    ?: in function ‘dispatch’
    ?: in function <?:296>

Do I need to be concerned?

Has v1.25 been released? I’m looking for it because the feature you added is EXACTLY what I’ve been waiting for! Thanks! 🙂

Thanks for the feedback. And yes, get that to work with a firmware update! That would be awesome!

Thanks for the reply. That’s unfortunate. Can you suggest an extender that is more compatible with the pcwrt and that doesn’t mangle or create a new mac address.

Yes, thank you. And that’s what I did. But one device is given two device names. One when it connects with the PCWRT and another when it connects with the TP-Link. Does that mean I have to add both to the parental controls?
