    Of course, I understand that full hardware support would not be possible for all the OpenWRT capable routers out there.

    Perhaps you could offer an option to download just the firmware (.bin file), for a price? This would of course come with a disclaimer and understanding that the customer uses it at his/her own risk. (Since the customer has chosen to use their own hardware for the project).

    thank you for your reply.

    Technically, what your company offers is the firmware (“pcWRT”) which is then installed on an off-the shelf hardware solution (such as your NetWIFI-D2 option).

    I assume that your “pcWRT firmware” is based off OpenWRT, and would probably run on any OpenWRT supported router.

    Is it possible to purchase the firmware (.bin) file, and use it to flash a router of my choice? (Or if I purchase the router/firmware combo from you, am I able to then manually download the .bin files from your server?)
