    understanding from private addresses

    Reserved Ranges:
Specific ranges of IPv4 addresses are reserved by the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) for private use, including:
    A -10.0.0.0 to 10.255.255.255
    B – 172.16.0.0 to 172.31.255.255
    C- 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.255.255

So if you uses theses private address with the https part you should be able to access the router login, but if the firmware was only coded to use Class C ONLY then I assume that would be the problem.

just a follow up with the whitelist part and ISP DNS

If one was to enter the ISP DNS into the whitelist section without the “Access Control is Enforced” part enabled, would the ISP DNS be classed as DOH “if” the Internet Link section DOH servers have been enabled?

    ok,

What happens if you decided to use a different local private address, it seems to come across a issue.

the firmware you uploaded is different to the copy I still have stored on my external, it also has a different MD5 hash

also the firmware you have may have a backdoor attached to it, I haven’t uploaded the copy of the pervious version so ill just keep using this one you posted.

the firmware and the concept of this software has been great but changing the VLAN 1 to VLAN 10 screwed up a great run for the software.

soz, maybe I should have explained more on the first post.

so off your list with the DNS, under access control when selecting AD guard the ip shows the following

    94.140.14.14
    94.140.15.15

So I emailed AD Support to get a answer on why there are two different domain names which the email replied back saying.

    “Hello!

Thank you for reaching out to AdGuard Support!

These are both our websites, just for different products. One for our DNS service, the other for our ad blocker.

Let us know should you have any additional questions. Have a great day!

    Best wishes,
    AdGuard Support 💚”

so the DNS you are using within PCWRT firmware is the DNS part , but the ad blocking is your own internal blocking listing?

Having trouble upgrading this device with the firmware off your site, it appears with a message saying incorrect file.

Do you have another file I could use?

But bottom line, what fixed it was changing the Host box localhost setting to: 127.0.0.1 localhost. That fixed me. Hope it fixes you as well.

    That’s the section within System?
