My new PCWRT router doesn’t seem to be as powerful as my old one and I have trouble connecting in some parts of the house now. Is there a way to put my old PCWRT router behind my new one in bridge mode, to act as an extender?
Could I give it the same SSRID as well?
You can try the steps shown here: https://www.pcwrt.com/forums/topic/disable-dhcp/. You may give the same SSID, but you won’t know which router a device is connecting to.
