@casino If only “Block Proxy/VPN” is checked and nothing else, facebook.com should not be blocked. Normally, you don’t need to white list it either.

Which app are you using? Is this blocking any facebook functionality?

No problem with the port. Simply we didn’t build the software to control the USB port.

The USB port is usually used to connect a storage device or a printer. We don’t see a strong demand to use the router’s USB port to do these things.

@kravin Do you mean you have a security device and a router connected to the WAN side of the pcWRT? And you wanted to have visibility to the devices connected to the LAN side of the pcWRT from the security device?

@markpenn2020 I’m guessing it reconnects after being disconnected? It might be a configuration issue instead of a hardware issue if the disconnect/reconnect happens on a more or less regular schedule. My guess is, if it’s a hardware issue, the problem would happen more sporadically (or fail to work at all).

BTW, so far the AC model had connectivity problems reported only when it’s connected to an Arris cable modem.

@rjager The type of mesh doesn’t matter. The requirement is to run the WiFi mesh in bridge mode.

@rjager You use the pcWRT as a router, and your mesh WiFi as AP in bridge mode. It should work for the cheaper pcwrt too, except that the speed tops at 100Mbps.
