Your computer needs to connect to LAN and have IP address 192.168.10.x in order to manage the router. If your computer is connected to other VLANs, such as Guest, X1, etc, you’ll see only “My local IP address” and “adblock control.”

If you’re connecting by wire, try switching to a different LAN port.

@KoYagami Can you send an email to [email protected] letting us know what your hardware model is?

@j1970m2 Can you send a copy of your backup file to [email protected]? Your VPN credentials will be encrypted in the backup file with a key private to your router so we can’t set up the exact VPN connection you have, but we can take a look at the configurations in general to see if they interfere with VPNs. Thanks!

@brookefox123 Did you check the “Enable Remote Management” box?

@WarrenHolt There’s no code that would block cloudflare.com or weather.gov while allowing others (apparently, these sites are not blocked by Access Control either). So we don’t think what you saw was a bug in v2.7.7. On the other hand, if you’re not affected by the bug fixes or updates provided by v2.7.7, there’s no need to upgrade this time.

On the WireGuard server configuration page, under the Network Access section, you need to check the VLAN your computer is connected to. E.g., if your computer is connected to LAN, then you need to check the LAN box. Also, the remote connection cannot be “Guest”.

@WarrenHolt This update should not cause connectivity problems with specific devices or specific sites. For the Newifi-D2 model, the only thing that is changed is the port numbering. The port numbers were 1, 2, 3, 4 for v2.7.6 when you look at the back of the router, counting from left to right – this was contradictory to the port markings on the router box. For v2.7.7, the port numbers are 4, 3, 2, 1, consistent with the markings on the box.

@J1970M2 The upgrade should not cause any problems with VPN. You may try it again. Please let us know if you run into problems again. We’ll have to take a deeper look.

Basically, if you enter an IP address into the white list, you’re allowed to visit that IP. If Access Control is enforced in a profile, then all users in that profile will be forced to use the DNS defined for the profile.

Both have gigabit Ethernet ports, but the PW-AX1800 has faster WiFi (WiFi 6) as well as VPN speeds. Max speed for WireGuard is 500Mbps for the PW-AX1800 and 180Mbps for the CF-WR619AC. OpenVPN is about 25Mbps for the CF-WR619AC and 120Mbps for the PW-AX1800.

Do you mean to block NTP time sync from devices connected to the router?
