You may try to reset the router: with the router fully powered up, press and hold the Reset button with a pin for 10 seconds, then release. The router will reboot itself. Do not disconnect power during the process.

After the router comes back up again, check for WiFi with SSID pcwrt. If you don’t see it, maybe the WiFi is bad.

If the WiFi is bad, but the wired connection is still working on the pcWRT, you can use your other router to as a WiFi Access Point.

1. Disable Wireless on the pcWRT
2. Connect your other router’s WAN to a LAN port on the pcWRT.
3. Switch your other router to Access Point mode. Disable DHCP on the router.

Your devices will connect to the other router’s WiFi, but will sill have Adblock by pcWRT.

Blocking literal IP addresses and calendars act independently. I.e., a site is blocked if it’s blocked by either the literal IP rule or a calendar.

You can leave “Block literal IP addresses” unchecked for the iPad, without worrying about the ports. The “literal IP” rule is needed only when a kid knows what a hosts file is and manually enters an entry in the hosts file. There’s no place to add a hosts entry on an iPad.

You may want to set up port forwarding on the Asus RT-N66U to the pcWRT.

1. Log on the pcWRT, go to the Cloud Settings page, enter a number for “Bind Port” (e.g., 3333), save.
2. Log on the Asus RT-N66U, set up port forwarding to the pcWRT. Choose UDP, enter the port number entered above.

@whiteseed The image is compatible with WRT1900ACS V2. If you are flashing from stock firmware, use the Factory image (no need to flash upgrade again after that). If you are upgrading from an existing OpenWrt installation, then use the upgrade image. Please checkout the OpenWrt website on how to flash from stock firmware.

@jmschwehm Currently DMZ host is not supported. You can set up port forwarding for the services you need on the host on the 192.168.10.x network. Alternatively, you may set up a VPN server on the pcWRT router and configure your 10.200.1 network host as a VPN client (with an additional routing table entry to send traffic that way).

@ravisca2003 The “Access Control” page is a page on our router management interface. Parents use the page to set Internet access controls for their kids. Sometimes the rules they put in break Google Meet. If you’re not using our router for access control but Google Meet doesn’t work, then you need to look for other reasons. The best starting point is to bring up the “Developer Tools” dialog in your browser to find out which requests are not going through (switch to the Network tab in Developer Tools).

Currently, you can only turn communication on or off. There’s no fine grained control by protocol and port.

You can assign multiple MAC addresses to one computer (i.e., map multiple MAC addresses to one name).

For example, the computer may have a WiFi adapter and an Ethernet adapter. You can map both to the same name and same IP address. As a result, no matter how the computer is connected, it appears as the same user in Access Control.

You don’t need to keep static lease out of the range. In fact, the easiest way to assign a static IP is to set a host name from the Status page, which assigns the host’s current dynamic IP as its static IP.

Limit specifies the size of the address pool. E.g., with start=100, limit=150, maximum address will be 249.
