Thanks, I can confirm that all is working again now. (Apologies for the slow reply, I’ve been without internet access for the past few days.)

BTW, just to be clear all was working fine as of yesterday, and no config has been changed in the router/network setup since then. I also have a UDP port forwarded in the router that my Toronto is piggybacked off, as described in this earlier thread: https://www.pcwrt.com/forums/topic/remote-management-via-pcwrt-com-stops-working-until-power-cycled/

Incidentally, for anyone else like me struggling with the lack of this button, there’s a (slow and cumbersome) workaround: Reboot the router and the logs are thrown away.

Just stumbled on this thread and would like to add a vote for a button to clear the log. And yes, there’s a need to erase the log more frequently if you use whitelists. Even in a 24-hour window the log can get cluttered up quickly, and I shouldn’t have to wait 24 hours if I *want* to clear it now. Which as of right now I do, because I am trying to figure out what domains I need to unblock to get an app working — and the domains I need to unblock are scattered amongst a list of totally unrelated domains that have also been blocked. If I could clear the list, I could try the app again immediately and see just the domains I need to unblock without all the unrelated clutter.

Ever since this update, managing through the pcwrt.com website stops working for me after an indeterminate period of time. I get a notice that the router isn’t available, although it is currently online. Rebooting the router fixes the problem. Anyone else experiencing this? I never saw it prior to the last update but have seen it several times in the past few weeks.

Sorry for bumping an old topic, but this is the closest I could find to my own question. I have time restrictions set up for internet access as described in Scenario 1 here:

How to set Internet access time limits in pcWRT

If I want to allow Google Hangouts at times where internet access is otherwise restricted, so my son can contact his mum while we’re socially isolating but not use the internet for anything else at those times, do I just need to set up a calendar with hangouts.google.com and hangout.google.com under sites, or is there anything else I’ll need to add to sites to enable video calling at my chosen times?

Allow remote control for the router when itโ€™s behind another router/NAT

Tested and working nicely. Shame you can’t check / upgrade firmware remotely though, as that’s basically the only reason I ever log into the thing in the first place once it’s configured, so I still have to change to its Wi-Fi network first.

Oh, and by the way, you have a minor display bug in the router selection page for remote control. Although you can include characters like ‘ in the router display name — and indeed, your guide at https://www.pcwrt.com/forums/topic/how-to-remote-control-the-pcwrt-router/ does so — when you are shown the list of routers to select from, you see the escaping in the display (eg. “Kids\’ Router” instead of “Kids’ Router”).
