You can block specific VPNs by adding the domain names in the Blocked URLs list. However, this cannot be done for TOR since the domain names cannot be determined. But if you block TOR, you will block all VPNs.

Unfortunately, these other video sites do not support safe search.

@lihjong The router will not change schedules automatically. Something else is happening in your environment. Please try these and see if you see any changes:
1. Update the schedule and log out. Then log in immediately afterwards, do you see the schedule changed?
2. If there’s no change above, reboot the router. Then check again. Do you see schedule change?
3. If there’s no change above, update your System Settings to enable notification on settings updates. Do you get notification when the schedule changes?

Opera VPN should be blocked by OpenDNS already (if you choose OpenDNS). TOR cannot be separated from other VPNs. When you block TOR, you block all other VPNs. However, you can block all VPNs but allow the VPNs you need by adding the domain names in the “Allowed URLs”.

@lihjong Maybe someone is going in there to change the schedule without your knowledge? You may try to change the router management password and see if that happens again. If you have remote management turned on, you may want to turn it off temporarily until you figure out what’s happening. Or change the pcwrt.com password also.

Additionally, you may want to turn on notification for configuration changes on the System Settings page.

Yes. You can list an IP address like 172.12.1.2, or a range in CIDR form, like 192.168.1.0/24. Alternatively, you can map the IP address to a name in the Hosts file (System Settings page).

@cjw Can you look at the Internet logs to see if anything is blocked? Click the View Logs link on the parental control page. Then switch to the raw view. If any outbound traffic is blocked, it will be displayed there with the reason why.

Thanks for the additional info. Did you check the block VPN or Literal IP addresses boxes in parental control?

Did you set up port forwarding while UPnP is enabled? If port forwarding sends incoming packets to a different internal host, then your Mac won’t get those incoming packets.
