To recap, your phone displays the 2.4 GHz SSID sometimes and your TV doesn’t display the 2.4 GHz SSID at all? But other devices can see the 2.4 GHz SSID all the time?

You may want to enable mDNS under the Security section.

Currently we have the CF-WR619AC in stock which is functionally equivalent to the Newifi-D2. The CF-XR11 will be restocked soon.

It should be pretty stable. You’ll have the LITE version of pcWRT after you install the firmware. You can upgrade to the full version by buying a one-time license from our store.

The preferred way is to use the check boxes on the Network Settings page. The checkbox on the WiFi Settings page isolates clients connected to the same SSID but not clients on the same VLAN but different WiFi bands or clients connected by wire.

The ports are numbered 1-4 from left to right when you look at the back of the router, irrespective of the labels on the box. I.e., the port next to WAN is port 4.

You’ll need to turn off WiFi on the pcWRT and set your Google mesh in bridge mode. The setup is similar to one discussed here: https://www.pcwrt.com/forums/topic/connect-pcwrt-to-orbi/. But first please check that Google mesh supports bridge/AP mode.

    1. It should be compatible if they are using the standard protocols. For OpenVPN, we need the .ovpn files. IKEv2, server certificates (if they use self-signed certificates). For WireGuard, you’ll need the server hostname, public key, and the client private key.
    2. We’ll restock our hardware soon, in the next week or two.

We don’t know about the sites you mentioned. Please check back with us in the next few days.

No WRT 1900AC. We have a build for WRT 1900ACS.

Create a profile, add a calendar with no allowed time to the profile. Then add the device to the profile.

Thanks for the suggestion. So far we haven’t had a strong use case for this. Maybe you can achieve what you want to do with a calendar on the device. I.e., create a profile for the device, then add a calendar to the profile.

The TP-Link build is only for ““TP-Link Archer C7 v2”, not the v5. You can try “TP-Link Archer A7 v5” or “Linksys WRT1900ACS”.

The router restricts access to the login page from a VLAN that does not have LAN access. For example, if you have an SSID for Guest and blocked LAN access from the Guest network, then when you are connected to the Guest SSID, you’ll only see “My local IP Address” and “Adblock Control”.

On the Status page, click on the name of your PC. A popup box will be displayed for you to enter a name for the PC. Enter the name and click Save.

After that, your PC will be displayed in the “Restrict router access” dialog.
